Let the Renovations Begin

This morning we started phase one of the renovations on this old house! The current plan is to complete 3 to 4 phases throughout the year(we have been told by many to double the time and money)… we remain hopeful this will not be the case! Phase 1 is starting with new floors on part of the first floor of the house.  We chose white oak, being it’s one of the most eco-friendly wood options. After this is complete we will be sanding and staining the new flooring, stairs and third floor in its entirety, using Rubio Monocoat Oil Plus 2C stain which is zero-voc.
